Birthday: June 2 (1967)

Where did you grow up? Louisville, KY

What are you reading? I just completed Jim Collins’ How the Mighty Fall

What are you listening to? I like to listen to sermons by some of the guys everybody has heard of – like Andy Stanley, Mark Drischoll, and especially my dad. But I also get a lot out of listening to sermons by a bunch of guys most people have never heard of. I think there are a lot of great preachers out there doing great work and through the power of the internet we get access to them. I learn a lot from guys on Sermonaudio.com – most of the ones I like have “Dr” in front of their name. Their deliveries are sometimes a little dry but their material is phenomenal. As far as music, I listen to JOY FM and WAY FM mostly, but stylistically I prefer U2, Boston, and southern rock – Third Day, Needtobreathe, groups like that.

Favorite Movies: Hoosiers, Courageous. I’m just not an “edgy” guy. I like the movies where the good guy wins against all odds. Rocky.

Interests / hobbies: family, college sports, crossfit.com

Favorite Verse: It changes frequently but today it’s Col 1:16: For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
