Parents

The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME in many ways is more important than what happens at church! We have many volunteers and staff every week creating ideas, crafting environments and coaching kids to help them grow up the right way. BUT WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!

What Makes Church GREAT for your kids?

CONSISTENCY: Attending the same service every weekend gives your child the chance to build life-long relationships with kids who live in the same area as they participate in the SAME small group each week.

REINFORCEMENT: Asking your child "Hey, what was the main point this week?" and helping them remember it throughout the week by completing the activities in the parent flyer reinforces what was learned and builds character in your child.

COMMITMENT: There is nothing greater that you can invest your time in than the local church to build a healthy, strong, Christ-centered child. There are 52 weekend opportunities each year - are you taking advantage of them all?

If you need help in selecting a Bible or have a financial need in purchasing a Bible for your kids, just ask the Kid City leader in your child's room.
