During this hour the focus is on our small group environment. Kids are in grade appropriate small groups with the same leaders each week. In these small groups, the children are learning biblical truths and how God’s word fits into their lives. They learn how to talk to Him and build friendships that will last. Same friends, same leaders at the same time each week.

All KC Kids classes meet in the Kid City wing.

Downtown Kids (K–1st Grade) meet in the first room on the left.

Midtown Kids (2nd–3rd Grade) meet in the 2nd room on the left.

Uptown Kids (4th–5th Grade) meet in room 143.

Kid City Live! Children ages Kindergarten–4th Grade enjoy an action–packed service that incorporates large group atmosphere with relationship building, team competition and small group application activities. During the large group portion of the service, the children are taught an application–based Bible story presented in a moving animated format, watch a drama/skit that brings to life the Main point for the day, sing songs and play lesson–oriented games. All of this occurs in an action–packed hour that’s sure to have your kids excited to return the next week!

Switch 56: Early adolescence is a crucial time in life. Spiritual growth from ages 10 to 13 can lay the foundation for a strong, lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Encouraging preteens during this time of growth is the mission of our Switch 56 ministry for 5th & 6th graders on Sunday mornings at 10:30. In our loving and safe environment, preteens can form great habits that will stay with them for life. Our curriculum, Superstart, is designed to deliver life-changing ministry by using excitement, fun, and true-to-life lessons so preteens can live out what they study. Preteens will be challenged to go deep in God’s Word and to develop lasting, meaningful relationships.

Curriculum

Each weekend your children can be a part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, games and lovable characters that teach Godly values at an age-appropriate level. Our weekend services meet at the same time as adult services, and are designed for all children from Kindergarten–6th Grade. So while you are experiencing the creative, life-changing worship of New Day Christian Church, your children are experiencing it as well.
