Volunteers

KidCity volunteers have one thing in common—a commitment to children, to their spiritual development and to guiding them into a relationship with Jesus that will last the rest of their lives. Volunteering in KidCity doesn’t necessarily mean you will get on the floor and play. (But it can!) We offer a wide range volunteer opportunities that allow you to make a significant contribution to our kids. Did you know most Kid City volunteers start with little or no experience? There are plenty of ways you can get plugged In. You may choose to serve before, during or after a service, and we even have serving opportunities during the week for various events. Some of the volunteer roles are:

Small Group Leader: serves as the primary role model for the same group of eight to ten kids on a weekly basis.

Coach: provides leadership and support to a team of small group leaders and oversees the classroom on Sunday morning.

Greeter: welcomes children into a classroom and helps to get them checked in.

Host Team: greets new families as they enter the Kid City hallway and guides them through the entire process of checking into a class.

Registration Station Operators: Checks in children as they enter and provides them with name tags and cards.

We would love to talk to you about joining our team. If you would like more information about volunteering on Kid City, email Gigi Wilkins.
