The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME, in many ways, is more important than what happens at church! We have many volunteers and staff every week creating ideas, crafting environments and coaching kids to help them grow up the right way. BUT WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!
What Makes Church GREAT for your kids?
Attending the same service every weekend gives your child the chance to build life-long relationships with other children who live in the same area by participating in the SAME small group each week.
Asking your child, "Hey, what was the main point this week?" and helping them remember it throughout the week by completing the activities in the parent flyer reinforces what was learned and builds character in your child.
The best way to develop a Christ-centered child is to invest your time in the local church. There are 52 weekend opportunities each year. Are you taking advantage of all of them?
If you need help in selecting a Bible for your child or you are unable to afford one, simply speak with the Kid City leader in your child's room.
